Sr. Associate / AVP - Structured Credit
Job Description
* Work closely with the clients in supporting them for investment transactions across various credit and alternate asset classes – loan portfolios, structured credit products, specialty financing and real estate*Build and analyze financial models for underwriting of complex credit portfolios such as loans (non-performing/performing and secured/unsecured), structured products (asset backed securities, RMBS, CMBS, etc.) *Provide support for portfolio underwriting including ad-hoc analytics, financial due-diligence and coordination with various counterparties involved in the transaction*Assist in the preparation of investment summaries and credit memos for existing and potential transactions.

* Broad understanding of credit and structured finance investments landscape* In-depth understanding of valuations and other core financial concepts* High level of proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel and VBA* Extreme attention to detail and a logical thought process to analyze large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment* Strong communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal* Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict and aggressive deadlines
